Fatima Johra is currently working on 'Sociology of Food security: Role of women in Middle and Low-Income Countries' for her MA project in Sociology in the University of Victoria. She is working as an internship program assistant with Center for Asia Pacific Initiatives. She has completed MA and Bachelor degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in Sociology. She loves to do research and interested in all scholarly activities. Her main interests of research are social inequality, gender, food sovereignty/security, health, indigenous communities, etc. She has worked with nongovernmental organizations and presented reports, research papers in many seminars and conferences in Bangladesh and Canada.
