Melissa Hiebert is a second year philosophy masters student with an interest in the ethics of international development and foreign aid. She worked as a student coordinator with the Center for Asia Pacific Initiatives.

Beyond her interest in topics pertaining to the ethics of international development and foreign aid, Melissa's long list of philosophical interest also includes issues regarding national sovereignty. She also has an interest in travelling, world cinema and literature, and is currently learning Hindi.
