Hello everybody!

This afternoon I had a conversation with a friend of mine, Hannah Weir, to discuss her focus in Bangladesh's migration field.

Rambly Reflections

Hello again, back so soon?

You may be wondering what’s with the rush? Why am I so keen to get out a couple of blog posts out within a few days of each other? Well, my dear friends, it appears that I won't be having as much time to write as I previously thought. My six months in Bangladesh has turned into three, and now, with less than a month left, I’ve suddenly fallen way behind on my postings!

Just a wee contextual project

Hello Everybody!

Wondering what kind of things I'm doing at work? We'll, there's been a lot of self directed research - it's hard to keep up with the activities of a Bangladeshi organization when your knowledge of Bangla is limited to "Hi, how are you? My name is Kelly" (A'salaam alaikum, k'a mon a'chen? a mar nam Kelly).

Traffic, Rickshaws, and Crowds, OH MY!

Hello Everybody! Greetings from Dhaka City!

Whew. I have been thinking about writing my first blog for a while now, but each time I sit down to do it, I seem to find myself at a total loss for words. Where to start? How can I even begin to describe what a crazy and incredible experience these first few weeks in Bangladesh have been? I feel as though I got thrown full force into the pandemonium of one of the most densely populated and highly polluted cities in the world upon my arrival here, but really, how else could such an entrance unfold?

A Brief Introduction

Hello Everybody!

Here is an interview with fellow intern Mikaela Robertson that was recorded back in December. In it we briefly talk about where I'm going, what I'm doing, and what I'm most excited about.
